Kevin Paul which is a combination of my first and middle names. I would describe myself as a Psychic and Medium. My psychic abilities allow me to work with the living while my medium abilities allow me to work with spirits or those who have departed. How do I receive information and messages? I can see, sense/feel and hear. My psychic ability allows me to read the past, present, and future physical and emotional states of people (living and dead) as well as retrieve information from houses, outside areas, public buildings, etc. without the use of the normal five senses. As a medium, I also gather information through my ability to sense or feel, hear and see. Through my sensing ability, I can converse, counsel, gather information, etc. from the those who have departed.
I felt that I had some kind of “gift” or ability but I didn’t know exactly what it was so I started my search to figure it out in 1984. My first introduction to spirituality, the spirit world and the paranormal, was also the most impactful. It was a book entitled Out on a Limb which was an autobiographical book written by American film actress and dancer Shirley MacLaine in 1983. It details MacLaine’s journeys through New Age spirituality. The New Age movement started in the 1970s and was characterized by alternative approaches to traditional Western culture, with an interest in spirituality, mysticism, holism, and environmentalism. That peaked my interest and appealed to me to my core.
In the 1980s, I read lots of books on spiritual and metaphysical topics. I studied the works of Edgar Cayce who was an American medium who answered questions on subjects as varied as healing, reincarnation, wars, Atlantis, and future events while allegedly asleep. He was given the nickname: The Sleeping Prophet. I also took formal classes in spiritual and psychic development from a metaphysical organization near where I lived called the AMC or the Arlington Metaphysical Chapel. The purpose of the psychic development classes at AMC was to learn how to recognize and develop one’s psychic ability.
The advance spiritual development classes at AMC were actual séances with a very talented physical medium and psychic named Dr. F. Reed Brown. Dr. Brown was trained and influenced in the style of the spiritualism movement from the early 20th century. The class would sit in a large circle, lights would go out, and we would sit in total darkness and listen to the wise spirits channeled through the medium to give us lectures on many different spiritual topics. Once I got over the theater of a séance, I learned to relax and just listen to the messages from these different spirits. I stopped wondering if it was real, how the medium did it, etc. The key was that I focused on what were the message(s) from the spirits that evening.
During my early training, I learned that I had the ability to receive information quite easily through a variety of different techniques. I studied and practiced throughout the 1980s but then took a long hiatus to explore other earthly and youthful adventures like competitive volleyball and then creating a successful dance company in Washington, DC. The performing arts organization I created was called the DC Cowboys Dance company and it lasted for 18 years and took us all over the world. It was a jazz based dance company that performed to music from Country Western to Pop Rock to Broadway musicals. The biggest highlights were our appearance on the TV show called America’s Got Talent in 2008 where we made it all the way to the live semi-final show in Hollywood, CA and then finally into the Smithsonian’s American History Museum for future exhibits and research in 2012.
In 2016, I returned to my paranormal practice by working with a study group of gifted sensitives (Edgar, Wendy, and Dean) who are either psychics or mediums or both. I dusted off years of neglect in this field called magic but brought maturity and life experiences to my current practice. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to quickly brush up on my psychic abilities but even more surprised that I had the ability to communicate with spirits through my new interest and passion with paranormal investigations and cleansing of the unwanted spirits and energies in homes and apartments.

In 2019 I undertook advanced training in mediumship around the world. In April 2019, I studied with the famous American TV medium and best selling author John Holland and world class spiritual medium and best selling author Rev. Janet Nohavec in Maine and also in Virginia Beach, Virginia USA in November 2019 at the famous Edgar Casey A.R.E (Association for Research and Enlightenment). In September, 2019, I attended the world famous The Arthur Findlay College in Sussex, England and trained under the amazing international spiritual medium, Jackie Wright DSNU. I owe lots of gratitude to these mediums who have tremedously improved my mediumship abilities.
Currently I provide a variety of professional services including a training curriculum for people wanting to develop their own “magical abilities”. I offer private psychic and mediumship readings remotely (via phone) or in person in Washington, DC area. I also investigate locations, cleanse properties, as well as provide consulting services for folks dealing with unwanted spirit or paranormal activity in their homes or those wanting to understand their own abilities.
